When you go to the city center, a lot of condominiums are sprouting everywhere. In Mandaluyong area alone, its already left and right. Our company owns a condo unit in Paragon Plaza with amazing view of the lake but soon enough, in 5 years, maybe even less, the beautiful view will be blocked with another condominium currently constructed now. In time, the view will be the next condo’s bedroom or living room. Its just a stone away!

My aunt brought me three leaflets from three different companies in one region – I say NO. No to condominium! Lived there, done that, don’t like! I prefer a provincial ambiance with friendly environment. I am happy where we are!

It’s not that I look forward for receiving souvenirs, gifts or “pasalubong”, its just that it kind of customary for us Filipinos that every time we visit a friend, we always bring something to eat or something to drink or yes – something to wear.

I received a couple of funny tshirts but I never wore them. Its just eating dust in the closet or maybe now already in the carton boxes but one thing for sure, if it’s given as a gift – I will keep it forever! Do you find it a waste? Others told me to give it away, perhaps as a present but I simply cannot let it go!

My old time friend, Ms. C arrived in Manila this morning. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to pick her up since I had an earlier appointment with Pag-ibig that I simply cannot change or reschedule. But at least, she accepted it and instead took the hotel’s free pick up service from the airport. We have been friends for more than 10 years exchanging emails and photos, I could still recall when we tried the popular fuente cigars in Germany when it was too cold to bear. Oh boy funny as it sounds but hey, it helps!

My kids called me yesterday requesting to order friend chicken and cheeseburger from Jollibee delivery. Since we are in Cavite, the delivery telephone number is different from what is actually advertised on TV. So for your info, the Jollibee delivery number is 046-8787 000.

I called the hotline and within 30 minutes, the ordered foods were delivered on time. It was even still crispy! Thanks to hubby for installing the address signs outside the house! The delivery motorcycle driver spotted our house from afar! Anyway, my visiting Aunt insisted of paying the bill – so thanks to her!

I read so many regret stories of a stay-at-home moms (SAHM) in terms of money and career. Also a success stories in terms of kids and parenting issues. While some mommies wouldn’t trade their kids for their career, others prefer to hire maids and house helpers to take care of the kids and the household. I belong to the second, I have 2 maids but my work is also flexible that should my kids need me at any point in time, I can go home and stay with them. Well, thats me. I guess I also blessed of having 2 adult nannies who knows what they are doing.

But why not stay at home while earning as well? There are so many success stories I read in the blogosphere. There are hundreds of job you can do while at home. I guess this will be my topic for the next months.

First, you can buy and sell jewelries to your neighbors. For sure, there is an area in your city where golds, silvers, pearls, stones are sold. If you are lucky, maybe even a scott kay rings. For instance, in Manila, you can visit China Town and Ongpin. This is an area where you are free to haggle and bargain for any stuff.
