Buying a property can be exciting at the same time stressful. I have been looking into a property conveniently situated along the main thoroughfare of EDSA. This property is right in the middle of shopping malls, hotels, restaurants, banks, schools, hospitals and churches. The public transportation is accessible to MRT, buses, jeepneys and taxis.
Visited the building and it is equipped with features and amenities that are truly world class. From the swimming pool, gym, banks, restaurants to function halls are conveniently located within its premises.
I talked to our property agent whom we worked for more than 5 years and she suggested to buy from this property developer. Anyway, I have an appointment with our bank manager next week and we will discuss the requirements in availing of a property loan, and maybe even discuss about reverse mortgage loans too.
I heard of a company All Reverse Mortgage based in the US who are specialized in these kinds of loan. Have to check the details, maybe similar companies also exist here in the Philippines.

For some families, pets are considered as part of the household. It is often the parents’ who takes on the interest and this is eventually passed on to the kids. Having pets is also a good way to teach your children about responsibility, how to take care and be kind to animals. But when is the right time to teach your kids about these concepts?
Even at a young age, children should be taught how to value and respect animals. At the same time, parents should teach them how to be a responsible pet owner. Here are some tips on how you can teach your children about responsibility:
1. Assign simple tasks to young kids such as feeding the pet. Remember to designate chores depending on their age.
2. Let your kids play with the pets in order to get more comfortable. This bonding will enable them to form a special relationship with animals and could help raise their awareness.
3. Allow your kids to help you. If you are cleaning the kennel, let them help you with small tasks. Show them how you take care of the pets and set a good example.
4. Take your family to a trip to the zoo or parks where they could learn more about pet care and how to stop animal cruelty.
Being able to raised kids that are aware of their social responsibilities is a sign that you have good parenting skills.

I am quite happy with our present cable TV provider. Planet Cable is quite new in the market compared to old and standard company like Sky Cable. The current plan we have is Php 1,000 per month bundled with TV and broadband internet. What makes this a good provider is that they offer a vast selection of foreign channels but a considerably lower price than bigger companies.
Its a normal scenario at home when kids and hubby could pick a fight over a channel to watch. We have 2 television sets, the bigger and slimmer TV is here in the first floor while the smaller one is upstairs which is mostly used by the kids. For me, nada, I have to choose whether to watch with hubby or with the kids. I am thinking of buying a second hand or refurbished TV and just get an analog digital TV converter. Sounds good right? I will probably share with our 2 nannies at home where we can watch telenovelas.
Last weekend, we visited the canteen to check on the construction and/or repair of the bathroom. The boys installed stones instead of tiles for the wall and flooring. Its cheaper than tiles and looks a lot better.
I hope he will also help hubby when the rzr power steering for the ATV arrives next week. The ATV is currently parked in the warehouse waiting for the parts to be installed. I would like to bring the ATV in the house so we can drive around the village especially that we are looking for properties around the area.
